Supply Chain Group Selects Supply Manager of the Year

Julie Wulff, C.P.M., recently received recognition for her work and her commitment to the profession of supply chain management. Wulff received the Supply Manager of the Year Award at the May meeting of the Institute of Supply Management (ISM—St. Louis).

The award is the highest award that ISM—St. Louis bestows on an individual, according to Kim Butts, president of ISM—St. Louis. The award is presented to an individual who has:

• Demonstrated leadership, both in the association and in the supply management field
• Provided outstanding service to the association and to the supply management field
• Made contributions for the advancement of supply management as a profession

Wulff's professional career has included 20 years at Procter and Gamble in manufacturing management, purchasing, and supply chain roles. In 2005, Wulff left Procter and Gamble to start her own supply management consulting firm, Supplywise LLC. She also teaches "Strategic Sourcing, Supplier and Buyer Relationship Management" at St. Louis University's Consortium for Supply Chain Management.

She received her B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an M.B.A. from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. Wulff and her husband, Bob, reside in the Ballwin area with their two sons.

Wulff currently serves as president-elect of ISM—St. Louis and has been a member since 2003.
