The ISM Diversity Committee was formed and exists in order to educate and guide ISM and its membership in the practices and principles of Diversity. By so doing, ISM will remain a recognized leader in education for this important topic, and the mission of ISM's Diversity Committee is to function as a resource in furtherance of this goal. As a Committee, we seek to ensure that certified minority-, women-, or disadvantaged-owned enterprises (MWDBEs) have the maximum amount of opportunities to participate in supplier contracts or other opportunities.

Goals of ISM's Diversity Committee:

• Educate and develop diversity best practices, benchmarks and metrics
