II. MEMBERSHIP GOALS and TRENDS:
NAPM has been working very hard to bring up membership. One of the best ways we have found in increasing interest in membership is our program to invite any prospective member to one of our regular dinner meetings free to these guests. This gives many people an opportunity to experience the comradeship with fellow purchasing professionals, interesting thought provoking programs and an explanation of the benefits of membership.

III. CERTIFICATION PROGRAM:
We continue to offer CPM/APP review classes in conjunction with Youngstown State University.This years classes will be held at the Eastwood Mall Metro Campus on Wednesday evenings 6-9:00 PM. Sessions will run for 5 weeks for each module.

IV. PROGRAMS:
NAPM Youngstown will again have EXECUTIVE NIGHT at Mr. Anthonys in Boardman, OH. Keynote speaker will be president of Youngstown State University, Dr. David C. Sweet. Will will be awarding deserving students a total of $2500.00 in scholarships this year. Date is set for May 15, 2001.

V. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
We have continued our plan of workshops and satellite seminars. Next will be held April 5, 2001...Procard Purchasing and Streamlining the purchasing processes with technology integration. These have been held at YSU.
