Mission/Purpose:

The Materials Management Group (MMG) of NAPM has had as its objectives to further the knowledge of the NAPM member and other interested parties, regarding materials management, or as we call it today supply chain management. Over the past 20 years, MMG has sponsored hundreds of conference speakers, workshops, seminars, and other professional development activities. During the past few years, MMG has been revisiting its mission and is beginning to re-establish itself in the education and professional development arena.

General Information:

The MMG Board met on May 18th at the ISM Conference and elected Fred Lutz as it's new Chair. A list of board members can be seen by going to the Officers Section of this site.

Planning is underway to activate a Group Newsletter and sponsor an MMG Conference in late winter, early Spring of 2004.

We would welcome articles for the Newsletter. They can be submitted to Karl Harward c/o karl.harward@slcgov.com.
