    NAPM is now the Institute for Supply Management™ (ISM). As you know, in May 2001 the membership of NAPM voted to change the association’s name from the National Association of Purchasing Management to the Institute for Supply Management™ to reflect the increasing strategic and global significance of supply management.

    ISM is now offering a new benefit of membership through a cooperative arrangement with PEO Brokerage, Inc. The new benefit is designed to attract supply management individuals from smaller-sized companies into membership.

  • Board of Directors Update Members Only Content

    R. David Nelson, C.P.M., A.P.P., chair of the Board of Directors, has officially called a meeting of the 2002-03 ISM Board of Directors to be held at ISM Headquarters in Tempe, Arizona. The initial session will be called to order on Thursday, August 15, 2002.

    As of mid-February 2002, ISM no longer mails reports of newly certified, or lapsed certificants. Instead, this information is e-mailed to all affiliate C.P.M. Mail Designates. If your affiliate is not receiving e-mail notifications from ISM Certification, notify us immediately to confirm that we have the proper e-mail address. Also, please inform us if there are any e-mail/personnel changes throughout the year.
