Many supply professionals still are struggling both in small and large companies to have a voice in the organization's strategic plans, in internal customers' yearly goals and objectives, and in early project planning. "Getting a seat at the table" takes real effort, marketing, documenting value, and internal collaboration. Building influence within the organization must be up there with other supply initiatives both personal and departmental.
