ISM is proud to present Condoleezza Rice as the opening keynote speaker for the 2013 Annual Conference.
Condoleezza Rice is the Denning Professor in Global Business and the Economy at the Graduate School of Business; the Thomas and Barbara Stephenson Senior Fellow on Public Policy at the Hoover Institution and a professor of Political Science at Stanford University. She is also a founding partner of Rice-HadleyGates LLC and the 66th Secretary of State of the United States.
Rice opens ISM’s 98th Annual International Supply Management Conference and brings her global view of the world to ISM. As the Secretary of State, her international experiences provide a strong backdrop to issues in supply chain management. Her stint as provost at Stanford University displayed her fiscal acumen as she oversaw $1.5 billion annual budget involving 1,400 faculty members and 14,000 students.
