(Tempe, AZ) — The Supply Network Conference presented by the Institute for Supply Management™ (ISM) and EBN is a must-attend event for management across the entire electronics industry supply chain. This Conference will feature thought provoking presentations and discussions about innovations that are reshaping the industry.
This informative program will offer participants the opportunity to hear from fellow industry executives who have created world-class supply network organizations. Attendees will explore and debate the challenges and opportunities organizations face in the quest for a more accurate, dependable, and profitable supply network.
"Supply chain management is now an area in which companies create competitive advantages, and it is a source of value creation for many. As we begin to outsource more and more of our key operational activities, the supply network that we have to interact with is becoming more and more complex," explains Dr. Hau Lee, Chair of the Supply Network Conference, professor of operations, Information and Technology, Stanford University.
Conference highlights include a special bonus research event hosted by iSuppli, keynote addresses by Dr. Hau Lee, Michael Marks, chairman and CEO, Flextronics, and Marissa Peterson, executive vice president of worldwide operations, Sun Microsystems. Additionally, a first-rate group of speakers, representing a group of companies that have been engaged in continual supply network innovations and advancements have been selected to present cutting-edge sessions. Session topics include: Setting the Stage- Supply Chain Challenges and Opportunities within the Electronics Industry; Successful Supply Chain Structures; Tectonic Shifts: The Changing Roles and Relationships of EMS Providers and Electronic Distributors; and Innovative Flow Management: Money, Goods and Information.
