ISM Global Supply Management Conference September 20-21, 2007 offers essential information for supply professionals in the global arena

(Tempe, Ariz.) July 16, 2007 — Global sourcing experts will gather September 20-21, 2007 in Mesa, Ariz. for a Global Supply Management Conference hosted by Tempe, Ariz.-based Institute for Supply Management™ (ISM). The conference, "Positioning Your Supply Organization in the Global Marketplace" will include eight general sessions:

  • Open Discussion of Current Best Practices in Global Sourcing

  • Trade Finance and The Supply Chain: A Survey of Shippers

The Global Supply Management Conference offers real-world strategies for supply managers who are currently immersed in global strategies or those contemplating a move to the global arena. Session presenters include practitioners, researchers and a senior editor from a leading trade journal. All presenters possess expert knowledge that spans both the manufacturing and service sectors.

Global Supply Management Conference general sessions and networking activities will take place at the Hilton Phoenix East/Mesa. Cost is $695 (USD) for ISM members and $895 (USD) for non-members. ISM members receive a $100 discount on the program registration fee. ISM offers a $25 discount (per person) for organizations registering three or more people for this program. All registrations must be placed at the same time.

A pre-conference seminar, "Globalization: Its Impact on Supply Management," will be held September 18-19, 2007. Cost is $1,245 (USD) for ISM members and $1,545 (USD) for nonmembers.
