Our mission is to promote educational and professional development in the purchasing and supply management fields, through workshops, monthly meetings, and seminars.

Our meetings also offer networking opportunities among our nearly 200 members.

We meet on the third Wednesday of each month September through May, excluding December and January. Our meetings are normally held at Manchester Country Club in Bedford, NH.

There are no meetings scheduled this summer. We are currently planning exciting and educational activities for our meetings that begin in September.

The senior buyer will be responsible for fulfilling all purchase requirements in a timely manner in order to meet customer expectations, managing Labspheres supply base insuring conformance to quality, delivery and cost objectives, and routinely evaluating supplier performance and implementing corrective actions when necessary

Key Accountabilities
-Responsible for sourcing materials and components, and negotiating pricing, stocking and kanban agreements with suppliers in support of corporate customer satisfaction goals and financial goals for direct material expense, PPV, and inventory levels.

- Work within Labspheres quality system and with suppliers to insure 95% or better incoming quality and 95% or better on-time delivery.

- Establish partnerships with mission critical vendors in the areas of machined parts (within 120 days) and metal forming (within 240 days) in support of Labspheres production schedule and custom order business.

- Oversee the distribution of purchasing responsibilities within the department.

- Coordinate with planning on make/buy decisions for both long term savings and short term outsourcing.

From Salem and Boston area:
Take I-93 North to I-293/ Rt 101 West toward Bedford. Stay on Rt 101 West to Kilton Rd / South River Road Exit. Take the exit and turn right at the third light onto South River Road. Go approx 2/3 mile (going thru two lights ). Manchester Country Club is on the right- look for the stone walls with a "MCC" plaque. Go to the door under the covered portico.

From Concord and Points North:
Take I-93 South to I-293 South.

(*)Take Rt 101 West Exit (last one before toll road). Stay to the right and take ramp to South River Road. Turn right onto South River Road and go approx 2/3 mile (going thru one light). Manchester Country Club is on the right-look for the stone walls with a "MCC" plaque. Go to the door under the covered portico.

From Hanover/Lebanon area:
Take I-89 S to I-93 S. Go South on I-93 to I-293 South. Follow directions above (*).

From Nashua/ Points South:
Take Everett Turnpike North (Rt 3 in Mass). Go through toll booths across the highway, 1/2 mile north of Exit 12. Go under the underpass at next set of exits and take the ramp to Rt 101 West toward Bedford. Stay on Rt 101 West to Kilton Rd / South River Road Exit. Take the exit and turn right at the third light onto South River Road. Go approx 2/3 mile (going thru two lights ).Manchester Country Club is on the right- look for the stone walls with a "MCC" plaque. Go to the door under the covered.

From Keene area:
Take Rt. 101 East toward Bedford, NH. Turn right at the intersection of Rt 101 and 114 (you will still be on Rt. 101 East). Take next exit after you make the turn- South River Road (Rt 3). Turn left at light onto Meetinghouse Road and right at the next light, South River Road. Go approx 1/2 mile.

From Portsmouth:
Take Rt 101 West from Seacoast. Follow signs for Rt 101 West as it joins up briefly with I-93 South- stay to right with Rt 101 West. Stay on Rt 101 West to Kilton Rd / South River Road Exit. Go to the third light and turn right onto South River Road. Go approx 2/3 mile (going thru two lights). Manchester Country Club is on the right-look for the stone walls with a "MCC" plaque. Go to the door under the covered portico.
