Abstract

Indexing provides a professional tool for measuring, investigating and controlling price and cost increases. As we advance in managing our supplier relationships, we must employ effective measures to ensure our contract alliances provide the lowest total cost for our companies. Indexing serves as an effective cost measurement tool as well as timely cost forecasts on key market indicators.
