NAPM's Certification Department has started a fact-finding investigation into alleged impropriety regarding the C.P.M. Exam and a review class. This alleged impropriety consists of individuals in the C.P.M. review class exchanging detailed information regarding the specific content of the exam and several specific exam questions and answers. This information was distributed via e-mail and discussed in the class. NAPM has involved our legal counsel regarding this matter.
Jerry McDonald, director for national affairs of NAPM—Fingerlakes, Inc., has discovered a great way to conduct his affiliate board meetings — in cyberspace! Jerry first became acquainted with the World Wide Web while serving in the army. Early on, he began utilizing this great time-saving technology to conduct business. Today, his affiliate uses e-mail to conduct most of its routine business matters.
Did you know that NAPM has more than 80 VHS videotapes available for your affiliate to borrow — free of charge? That’s correct, free!
C.P.M. and A.P.P. News
Courses to help candidates review and prepare for NAPM’s C.P.M. Certification and A.P.P. Accreditation Exams are now online. These online courses supplement other exam preparation activities, are organized by job analysis tasks that correspond with actual exam material, and are closely aligned with the content in the NAPM C.P.M. (A.P.P.) Study Guide. Candidates will have easy access to the electronic version of the NAPM C.P.M. (A.P.P.) Study Guide, many sample questions with answer rationale in the "Q & A" section, and the ability to post questions to a Content Discussion Guide through the C.P.M. (A.P.P.) online content discussion boards.
NAPM has chosen Bonner Consultants, Inc. to assist the association with implementing the name change.
