  Institute for Supply Management™ has chosen the title Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) as the name of the organization's new qualification. The CPSM is slated to be the profession's most rigorous qualification, representing the highest degree of professional competencies.

  ISM's Leadership Training Workshops are tailored specifically for affiliate leadership. The workshops offer invaluable networking opportunities as well as sessions addressing both the tactical and strategic training necessary to run a successful affiliate.
  
  
• Spread the Word — Sharing the Value of Supply Management
  
  In the months leading up to March 2006, Supply Management Month planning resources have been updated and made available online for affiliate use. Volunteer leaders have been encouraged to access materials on the ISM Web site. A link to Supply Management Month Information is in the Members Only area under Affiliate Support.
  
  
• Certification News
  
  Individuals who want to keep their C.P.M. or A.P.P. designation current must recertify/reaccredit every five years. C.P.M.s must earn 84 Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) during their current certification period. A.P.P.s must earn 42 Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) during their current accreditation period.

  ISM's Career Center links job seekers and employers. The online Career Center makes online searches for jobs (free for members) and qualified candidates easier than ever.
  
  
• Liner Notes
  
  Diversity is one of the seven principles of Social Responsibility in the ISM initiative that was launched in 2004. The objectives of this principle are: (1) Proactively promote purchasing from, and the development of, socially diverse suppliers; (2) Encourage diversity within our own organization; and (3) Proactively promote diverse employment practices throughout the supply chain.
