Abstract

The objective of this session is to review and discuss the challenges met while the implementing supply chain management (SCM) in the largest civilian government agency, U.S. Postal Service. Focus is given to the organizational redesign of the purchasing and supply functions as a catalyst to drive cost out of the Postal Service supply chain.
