Abstract

Logistical challenges are greater today than at almost any time in recent memory. Costs are escalating to the point that firms are rethinking global sourcing strategies. New rules from carriers and from security requirements make logistics increasingly complex. Our infrastructure is sagging under the growth of imports, population growth demands and ever increasing vessel sizes. This session will examine these challenging situations and suggest solutions.
