With the April 1998 membership vote approving NAPM's Revised Bylaws, each NAPM affiliate is required to update their bylaws and submit them to NAPM for approval and retention.
The purpose of this white paper is to provide background information and to explain the goal and benefits of the new Direct National Membership category.
NAPM recently unveiled its online Personal Planner for the 84th Annual International Purchasing Conference in San Diego, California. From the NAPM Home Page (www.napm.org), select "Education" and then "International Purchasing Conferences" to access the planner.
C.P.M. and A.P.P. News
As in previous years, districts and Allied Associations are invited to send participants to the C.P.M. and A.P.P. Instructor Information Program. NAPM will waive the seminar registration fee for up to three participants from each district and one participant from each Allied Association. The next seminar will be offered as one of the pre-conference seminars on May 22, 1999, at the Annual International Purchasing Conference in San Diego, California.
Board of Directors Update
President Richard D. Rich, C.P.M., A.P.P., has officially called a meeting of the 1998-99 NAPM Board of Directors to be held at the San Diego Marriott & Marina in San Diego, California. The initial session will be called to order on Saturday, May 22, 1999.
Your attendance is requested at the annual NAPM membership meeting. Please plan to join us for an up-to-the-minute report on association business. The meeting will be held during the 84th Annual International Purchasing Conference, May 23-26, 1999, at the San Diego Marriott & Marina in San Diego, California.
