C.P.M. and A.P.P. News
Adding new C.P.M.s each year is central to the health and long-term success of the C.P.M. program. The Certification Committee, working more directly with affiliates, has established a goal to increase by 2,001 the number of C.P.M.s in 2000-01. NAPM has made increasing the number of C.P.M.s a top priority and we continue to add resources to support the marketing and visibility of the program. This new goal supports the strategic plan approved by the NAPM Board of Directors to increase the number of active C.P.M.s and A.P.P.s to 50,000 by September 2003.
The first meeting of the NAPM Transition Nominating Committee took place April 28, 2000. This committee was specifically described in the transition bylaws. The committee members are listed below with their origin for selection.
