    During the first week of March you received in the mail the "2001 Proxy for the Annual Meeting of Members of the National Association of Purchasing Management, Inc." You are being asked to vote on important issues for your association including the election of the NAPM Board of Directors and approval to change NAPM’s name. The report of the vote and other association business will be made at the Annual NAPM Membership Meeting that will be held prior to the 86th Annual International Purchasing Conference, on April 28, 2001, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., at the Marriott Orlando World Center Resort in Orlando, Florida.

    NAPM will welcome its new Board of Directors at the 86th Annual International Purchasing Conference, April 29-May 2, 2001, in Orlando, Florida. Under NAPM’s new governance structure, the Board of Directors is composed of 12 individuals identified by the Nominating Committee, plus the chief executive officer.

  • C.P.M. and A.P.P. News Members Only Content

    Affiliates are reminded to take advantage of NAPM’s program to document Continuing Education Hours. It is a simple process: affiliates complete a Continuing Education Hours (CEH) Documentation Request Form four to six weeks prior to a seminar (or other educational event) and return it to NAPM. NAPM will review the information to make certain the program subject matter is eligible for continuing education (for the C.P.M. and A.P.P. programs). If eligible, NAPM will assign a program number and return the completed form, along with a log sheet and recommended Achievement Award forms. The person responsible for the program will then complete an Achievement Award form for each attendee and send a roster of attendees to NAPM. The attendee submits the Achievement Award form when applying for C.P.M. recertification or A.P.P. reaccreditation.
