Supply Management Month is just four months away. Now is the perfect time to plan how your affiliate and members can raise awareness of the supply management profession.
ISM is discontinuing the Accredited Purchasing Practitioner (A.P.P.) program. February 28, 2007 is the date by which candidates must postmark their A.P.P. Original & Original Lifetime application. If candidates postmark their application after February 28, 2007, they will never be able to become an A.P.P.
From time to time, ISM conducts surveys of its members and other audiences to measure the impact of issues or events on the business community and supply management in particular. The results of the various research projects can be found on the ISM Web site. Below is a list of available research and a short description of each:
The updated ISM Glossary of Key Supply Management Terms is a valuable reference tool for supply professionals, academics, researchers and students. Greatly expanded, the new fourth edition includes information from all components of supply. From logistics to procurement, warehousing to product service development, the glossary provides supply professionals with both an improved terminology and a greater understanding of various supply processes across the entire supply chain.
