Detect the Defective Process Members Only Content

Jill Smith, C.P.M., the purchasing manager for Triangle Precision, had received numerous reports from the manufacturing department regarding problems with the quality of a certain part provided by three of her organization's suppliers. The overall length of that part, in particular, was critical and had to meet the specification of 20 mm +/- 0.025 mm. To determine which supplier was responsible for the problem, Smith decided to use process capability analysis to assess the suppliers' quality systems.
