Economic Growth to Continue for 1998

Economic growth will be somewhat higher in the second half of 1998, say the nation's purchasing executives in their 55th Semiannual Economic Forecast. While a significant 76% expect their 1998 revenues to be greater than in 1997, they expect a 6.4% net increase in overall revenues compared to a 7.8% increase predicted in December 1997.
