To be successful, we must combine the latest and most advanced purchasing techniques with a global, geocentric attitude. A geocentric attitude means we recognize the value of human resources without regard to culture or nationality. People - host-country nationals, third-country nationals, or home-country nationals - are valued for their ability to contribute to the organization. Similarly, the geocentric supply manager must recognize the value of material resources from around the world without regard to point of origin. Our vision as professionals must be geocentric!
