Fine-Tune Your C.P.M. Exam Preparation with ISM Search

ISM's Web site,, now has even more capabilities to help members prepare for their C.P.M. Exam. ISM Search, an improved search feature on the ISM Web site, can help you find and cross-reference supply information, making it easy to look up numerous supply-related subjects instantly. It's a valuable tool to improve your understanding of your weakest areas of professional knowledge.

Available only to members of ISM, the search feature offers access to archived white papers, industry discussions, conference keynote speaker presentations and information on a multitude of subjects from many unique sources. Access comes with your membership and is ready for immediate delivery.

How Best to Study with ISM Search
You've taken the C.P.M. Diagnostic test and have identified your weakest subject areas. You've got books and other resources, but now you're looking for secondary research and real-life examples to raise your understanding to a higher level. Simply go to ISM's Web site at ISM Search can be found in the top right corner of the Home Page.

Next, type the subject you wish to query — in this example (view PDF version for graphics), we've used "strategic sourcing." Click Go and you will receive a listing of numerous links to a large variety of resources which contain information on that specific subject. We've organized all of the site's content by topic area, so if you want to narrow your search by topic, select Advanced Search. In addition, each publication is given a relevance score at left to indicate which items most closely match. Thousands of subjects are available.

The next time you need extra help studying for your C.P.M. Exam, or when you need a quick brush-up on any supply subject, use ISM Search. It's fast and free to members. With thousands of subjects and archived presentations, ISM Search provides you with the tools to be more effective when preparing for your C.P.M. Exam.
