Valerie Nesbitt joined the Coca-Cola system in 2009 as Director, Supplier Diversity for Coca-Cola Enterprises. She is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that add value to the supply chain utilizing minority and women owned businesses in sourcing opportunities.

Prior to joining the company, Nesbitt held the position of General Manager Supplier Diversity at Delta Air Lines, where she was responsible for leading the company's supplier diversity process. Prior to Delta, she held the position of Purchasing Manager at Scientific-Atlanta, Inc., where she was responsible for leading the procurement and management of $175 million of goods and services acquired annually by the company. In addition to these responsibilities, Nesbitt also led the company's supplier diversity program. Earlier in her career, she spent 12 years with Martin Marietta Specialty Components Inc. (formerly General Electric) in Largo, Florida. During this time she gained an extensive background in supply chain management and supplier diversity through a variety of assignments including: Manager Programs & Administration, Specialist Purchasing Programs, and Buyer.

A native of Aiken, South Carolina, Nesbitt is a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and a Masters in Public Administration from Golden Gate University.

Nesbitt generously gives her time to numerous local and national organizations. She is actively involved on various committees and the board of directors with organizations such as: the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council, the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce — Southeast and the Institute of Supply Management — Supplier Diversity Group. To her credit, she has received numerous awards and recognition for her business and community contributions.

Nesbitt and her husband Donas reside in Smyrna, Georgia.
