Anthony Humphrey joined MeadWestvaco in January 2007 and currently manages a global team that provides strategic outsourcing direction, assessment methodologies, focused analytics and project management to ensure continued and sustainable support of global contract manufacturing requirements. He also manages a team that provides supply chain optimization for MWV's various supply chains, and oversees the corporate Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program.
Previously at MWV, Humphrey was Director, Supply Chain Solutions. He led a global team that was responsible for superior supply chain consulting solutions for all of MWV's business units in the Americas and Europe. Under his direction, the team provided stakeholders with productivity and process optimization services that enabled achievement of strategic business imperatives, including:

Developed Supply Chain Strategies for company's Emerging Markets efforts
Led network optimization efforts for various business units
Prior to working at MWV, Humphrey worked with IBM's Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) team for six years. In his role as project and program manager, he drove supply chain transformation efforts via various levels of involvement. Some of which included:

Led global demand and supply teams transformation effort for xSeries Brand
Deployed integrated demand conditioning processes between Personal Computing Division and Xseries Brand

Humphrey received an MBA in Management & Strategy, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Transportation, from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. He also earned a B.S. in Accounting from North Carolina A&T State University, Greensboro, NC.
