Jennifer Turner is a highly accomplished, results-oriented management professional with expertise in supply chain management, business process analysis and communications. She has a significant background in both the information technology and communications industries. Turner has managed global cross-functional teams and multi-million dollar budgets. She has exemplary communications skills, with particular strength in creating documents that convey messages with clarity and impact.
Turner is currently an IBM Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Manager who is responsible for leading stellar teams to tackle complex projects and exceed expectations, coaching and providing guidance to help develop the careers of high performers. She has been at IBM for over 13 years in various roles in ISC Corporate Headquarters, Procurement and Customer Fulfillment. Turner was recruited for the Supply Chain Leadership Program, holding key leadership positions on the Marketing Communications and Travel Strategic Category Councils, Procurement Communications and the America's e-Fulfillment Strategy Team, where she received a Gold e-Olympics Award.
Before joining IBM, Turner worked for more than six years at U.S. News & World Report magazine as the News Bureau Manager and a contributing writer, where she received a National Magazine Award nomination.
She earned a BA in Communications and Business Administration and an MBA in General Management with honors from Howard University in Washington, DC. and a Master's Certification in Project Management from George Washington University in Washington, DC.
Turner has received multiple awards and recognition, including the John F. Kennedy Journalism Award. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Who's Who. As a mother of two young and vibrant daughters, Turner brings high energy and a positive attitude to each new challenge.
