Kevin J. Williams, C.P.M.

Kevin J. Williams, C.P.M., is currently a Director of Global Technology Solutions with American Express Corporate Services. He currently leads a national team of consultants who help American Express clients streamline their supply management and payment processes through technology. In his 25 years of Supply Management experience, Williams has been involved in the strategic procurement of a wide range of products and services in the manufacturing, retail distribution, financial services, government contract and broadcasting industries. His employers have ranged in size from 25 local employees to over 90,000 worldwide. A contributor to Inside Supply Management® and iSource magazines, Williams has also served on the review board of NAPM InfoEdge for computer and electronic commerce related issues. He was named one of 20 "Provider Pros" in the February 2002 "Pros to Know" issue of iSource magazine. In addition, he currently serves as Webmaster for the Northeast Supply Management Group and is a member of ISM's Committee for Social Responsibility.

Williams has served in various capacities with the Connecticut Association of Purchasing Management (CAPM), including serving as President in 1996-1998. In May, 2000, he received CAPM's highest honor, the Fred A. Harvey Award, in recognition of his contributions to the Purchasing and Supply Management profession. In recognition of his high level of achievement, Williams was named to the American Express 2004 "Ambassador's Club."
