With what I learned studying for the CPSM®, I was able to change internal policy on how we measure procurement cost savings to show a more realistic picture of the value that supply chain services provides our organization.
My favorite section was the information regarding C-TPAT because I would never get exposed to that in my current role.
One of the best things about the CPSM® program is the ability to do on-site testing and review. It really helped me and my colleagues with test anxiety to have a proctored exam in a familiar location.
Even though I am a C.P.M., I felt it was important to get the CPSM® to freshen up my skills with the latest body of knowledge. As certification chair of my affiliate teaching others, I felt that I needed to take all three exams instead of just doing the Bridge Exam to really give students a good perspective of what it takes to pass the exams.
