CPM Cert now?

I just got laid off after working as a senior buyer for 10 years. I have some immediate opportunities but I’m thinking maybe I should get my CPM once and for all before anything. Any bottom line / no BS opinions on if I should get my cert now? Does the CPM cert still has the same muscle as it did years ago.

I think anything you can do will boost you marketability and it will keep you focused on a goal during this time of stress. I know, because I have been thru this.

The CPM allowed me to get a Supply Chain Job that otherwise would have required a Masters Degree. Study for CPM or take 2-3 years for a master's...NO BRAINER - DO IT!
