I'm seeking academic periodical coverage of the phenomenon of Make vs. Buy in terms of sourcing domestically or abroad. Can anyone point to secondary resources/journals showing the factors under consideration for corporations looking to source in USA vs. overseas? Is there a formalized solution to this question?
