GPO's - Any experience/recommendations?
I am starting to do some research into (non-healthcare) GPO's and would like to tap into any experiences or recommendations other members might have.

I work at a non-profit and am primarily looking into this for Facilities and MRO type purchases (Office Supplies, Janitorial, printed materials, etc.)

I used to work for a non-profit. Depending on the type of nonprofit and where you are, you might be able to utilize or the TCPN.

I believe most GPO's work in multiple areas and not just healthcare. Also, most non-profits, within any given state will have approved contracts and approved vendor lists for you use and to purchase from and should be available on the non-profits web-site. All organizations that are fairly large will use some type of group purchasing resources. Otherwise call the non-profit directly and ask where to find this information on their web-site.
