We use D&B's DNBi scores as one vendor risk assessment tool. DNBi is designed to help business screen out high risk customers. So I don't think we are using the right tool on the supplier risk management side.
D&B offers a different product-- Supplier Risk Manager. It's kind of costly for a small to medium business. I'd appreciate your comments on the tool before I make suggestion to my upper management, e.g. effectiveness, cost, ease of use, resources needed to manage, values, etc.
