I am trying to gather some info on this division of Sodexo.
I have heard through the grapevine that Sodexo has a division called Allegra or Allegro or something close to that in which GPO's can partner themselves with Sodexo to get Sodexo pricing. It was explained to me that it is a way for GPO's or outsourced purchasing services to outsource negotiations on tens of thousands of line items.
I can't find a thing on this on the internet. If it is true, it sounds to me like they are selling to their competition (albeit much smaller competition).
Thanks,
Rich
