(St. Louis, Mo.) December 12, 2008 — Martin (Marty) Rutkovitz has received the 2008 St. Louis Supply Manager Award from the professional association ISM—St. Louis, Inc. The award was presented at the group's September 2008 meeting and is the highest award that ISM—St. Louis, Inc. bestows on an individual. The award is presented annually to an individual who has:
Rutkovitz has been in the supply management field for over 20 years and is currently a strategic sourcing manager with Monsanto. He has been involved in ISM in local affiliates and nationally for over 15 years.
ISM—St. Louis, Inc. is an affiliate of the Institute for Supply Management™ (ISM). Rutkovitz is the affiliate's President Elect and will serve as President in 2009-2010. His prior leadership roles include Director of Professional Development, affiliate Vice President and serving as General Conference Chair for ISM's 93rd Annual International Conference which was held in St. Louis in May 2008.
