The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) Names 2001-2002 New Board Of Directors

(Tempe, Arizona) - The National Association of Purchasing Management (NAPM) is proud to welcome the new NAPM Board of Directors. The Board was affirmed by a membership vote at the NAPM Annual Membership Meeting held on April 28, 2001. This new Board culminates the governance changes approved by the NAPM membership in February 2000. Its members will focus on strategic issues of importance to NAPM and the profession and will provide a means for NAPM to influence the field of supply management without being tied to individual constituencies. NAPM is pleased to have achieved its goal in recruiting high-level leaders who come from diverse economic sectors, genders, and ethnic backgrounds, and who bring individual skills to leading the association. The 2001-2002 Board of Directors will conduct its first meeting immediately following the association's 86th Annual International Purchasing Conference, April 29 - May 2, 2001, in Orlando, Florida.
