ISM's Semiannual Economic Outlook Presentation will be delivered Tuesday, May 10, 2005. Norbert J. Ore, C.P.M., chair, ISM Manufacturing Business Survey Committee, and group director, strategic sourcing and procurement, Georgia-Pacific Corporation, releases the committee's Manufacturing Semiannual Economic Forecast. Veteran Report On Business® representative Ralph G. Kauffman, Ph.D., C.P.M., chair, ISM Non-Manufacturing Business Survey Committee, releases the Non-Manufacturing Semiannual Economic Forecast. Kauffman is associate professor of management and coordinator of the Purchasing and Supply Management Program at the University of Houston — Downtown.

Following the release of the forecast for both the manufacturing and non-manufacturing sectors, the program continues with presentations by two of the nation's most renowned economists. Economic keynote speaker Thomas F. Siems, Ph.D., is senior economist and policy advisor for Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Robert Fry, Ph.D., is senior associate economist for DuPont.
