New Leadership for ISM Logistics and Transportation Group

(TEMPE, Ariz.) — The Institute for Supply Management™ (ISM) recently announced new officers of its Logistics and Transportation Group. The common-interest group is comprised of ISM members throughout the United States who are responsible for buying transportation or logistics services.

"We provide members a forum for professional interaction, networking opportunities, and educational programs in the fields of logistics and transportation," says newly elected Chair Gregory E. Bunn, C.P.M., CPIM. Bunn is senior commodity manager for KeyMRO of America in Cincinnati. The Group's other officers include: 1st Vice Chair - Michael A. Regan, chief executive officer and chairman of the board, Tranzact Technologies, Inc. in Elmhurst, Illinois; 2nd Vice Chair - Thomas L. Tanel, C.P.M., CTL, CCA, president, chief executive officer and founding principal, CATTAN Services Group Inc. in College Station, Texas; Treasurer - Judith A. Baranowski, senior associate, AlixPartners LLC in Southfield, Michigan; Secretary - Michael A. McGinnis, DBA, C.P.M., A.P.P., associate professor of business, The Pennsylvania State University New Kensington Campus.
