(Tempe, AZ) — Do you have a leading-edge idea or practical tools and techniques to share with career-oriented supply management professionals? If so, the Institute for Supply Management™(ISM) invites you to submit a proposal to present a workshop at its 90th Annual International Supply Management Conference to be held in San Antonio May 8-11, 2005. Don't miss out on a rewarding opportunity to instruct and enlighten professionals who represent all industries and are leaders in their organizations.
Conference attendees seek a professionally stimulating educational experience at each of the 60-minute workshops they attend. Presentations should offer a creative and innovative approach to a topic that fits into one of five tracks detailed on the presentation proposal form. Download a proposal form from the 2005 Conference link on ISM's Web site at www.ism.ws/Conferences/Call2005.cfm. The Call for Presentations opens April 1, 2004. ISM accepts up to three proposals from a single presenter, either as an individual or as a co-presenter.
Submit your proposals via the ISM Web site at www.ism.ws. Presentation proposals are due on or before midnight (MST) July 1, 2004. All proposals will be reviewed during July and August 2004 by ISM's Permanent Conference Committee. The Committee, comprised of experienced supply management professionals, will rate proposals based on content, benefit to the audience and speaking experience. By early September 2004, all prospective speakers and identified co-presenters who submitted a proposal will be notified of the status of their workshop proposals.
Selected presenters who submit a Conference Proceedings paper that meets the specifications and is accepted for publication will be awarded one complimentary full-conference registration per proposal. ISM does not provide honoraria for workshop presentations at its International Supply Management Conference, and presenters are responsible for their own travel and hotel expenses. Questions concerning the completion and submission of the Web-based proposal form may be directed to ISM at 800/888-6276 or 480/752-6276, extension 3056, or e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
