(Tempe, AZ) — The Institute for Supply Management™'s (ISM) newest self-paced online course, Supply Chain Management is an introduction to the supply chain concept that explores the management of supply chains to improve an organization's overall supply efficiency. Other concepts included are the definition of supply chains; identification procedures; an overview of methods, processes, and systems that are used in the operation of supply chains; and the applications of methods, processes, and systems to improve supply chain performance.

As a participant in ISM's self-paced courses, you can determine how often you want to access the content and how quickly you will finish the course. By completing the registration and payment forms online, you will have immediate access to the course and may participate any time that is convenient to your schedule. This course will be available beginning February 1, 2003.
Supply Chain Management is also available in the instructor-led online format. This newly-revised four-week online course has a defined start and end date, and includes online interaction with the course instructor and other participants. Individual and team activities include weekly assignments, case studies, class discussion forums, and quizzes. This course is offered in an asynchronous format which allows you to access the content any time of day or night.
