Fueling the Recovery: Making an Impact
Unique event for women execs and rising talent is February 3-4, 2010, in San Diego.
(TEMPE, Ariz.) November 18, 2009 — Find out what your colleagues have done and what they are doing to gear up for 2010 and beyond at the 2nd Annual Women Executive Supply Management Summit (WESMS), February 3-4, 2010 in San Diego. Presented by Institute for Supply Management™ (ISM), this unique event is for women executives, their direct reports and those interested in building their career in supply management.
Don't miss this great learning (and networking) experience. Glean skills and gather tools to boost your career and your organization. Look for sessions that address risk, outcomes of survival from impacted industries and developing a personal plan for success. Be sure to attend the panel discussion and gain some top-level perspectives. Supply management professionals from all industries and organizations will benefit from WESMS sessions. Speakers represent a diverse cross section of industries, including pharmaceutical, consulting, agriculture, consumer foods, commercial products and finance.
ISM is co-locating the 2nd Annual Women Executive Supply Management Summit with the 3rd Annual Hispanic Supply Management Summit and the 7th Annual Black Executive Supply Management Summit. Each Summit has its own set of workshops, but general sessions are held together. This provides the added benefit of networking time with colleagues attending the other Summits. All three Summits are focusing on being prepared for the economic recovery — on a personal and company level.
Student teams will present cases on the afternoon of February 2, 2010. In addition to showcasing the next generation of supply management talent, student team members will also hear from practitioners on how to establish themselves in the supply management profession.
