ISM grants media credentials to working journalists whose primary roles are editorial in nature. Requests for credentials are handled on a case by case basis and must be secured in advance by emailing a written request to Linda Michels, Vice President, Strategic Marketing, at email@example.com. When evaluating requests, ISM considers the editorial focus of the outlet, potential for editorial coverage and may ask the requester to furnish a copy of or link to the industry/business publication, bylined article or business card.
Registration fees are waived for credentialed media; however, on-site and same-day media registrations are not guaranteed to be evaluated or granted expeditiously.
ISM Public Relations does not extend media credentials to people whose primary roles are not editorial in nature. Publishers, business development representatives, advertising/sales professionals and other interested individuals are encouraged to review Exhibit/Sponsorship Opportunities on the ISM website or purchase a registration for the specific event they wish to attend.
Credentialed media must conduct interviews in media-designated areas or public spaces that do not interfere with the educational experience of any other attendee, presenter, exhibitor, sponsor, volunteer or ISM employee. Media representatives are also asked to obtain a written release or electronic permission from individuals who agree to participate in interviews.
