Develop Scorecard to Measure Actual vs. Goal

• Incorporate measures and goals for desired end state into your company and/or group scorecards.
• Make sure personal performance goals include these goals as applicable.
• Communicate goals and results you achieve.

Assess Gaps in Actual to Goal

• Continue to check results against the business case you presented.
• Celebrate successes and provide positive recognition and rewards to keep momentum going.
• Communicate results.

Was the Goal Realistic?

• If goal is realistic, then continue on to Take Action to Increase Compliance.
• If goal is not realistic, then adjust or reinforce plan based on Executive Feedback. Return to Business Case for Justification Support.

Take Action to Increase Compliance

• Take revised action plan back to executive sponsors and stakeholders for approval.

Do Gaps Exist in Actual vs. Goal?

• If gaps do not exist, continue on to Return to Assessment Phase and Select next Highest Principle.
• If gaps do exist, then return to Take Action to Increase Compliance.
