Professional Credentials
The Certified Professional in Supply Management® (CPSM®) designation was launched in 2008 and is recognized internationally, reflecting the expanded education, skills and experience needed for supply managers to be successful as the profession evolves into the 21st Century.
The Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) program is specifically designed for experienced supply managers, with a focus on managerial and leadership skills, plus a variety of specialized functions. This program is entering a recertification-only phase.
The Accredited Purchasing Practitioner (A.P.P.) designation is specifically designed for entry-level supply management professionals, or those primarily engaged in the operational side of the supply function. This program is currently a re-accreditation program only.
